If you didn’t know about this yet, our star, Katherine Heigl, will have a box office movie named The Ugly Truth coming out on April 3, 2009.
Apart from Katherine Heigl, Gerard Butler, whom I can say is an expert in comedy movies will also be featuring in The Ugly Truth as well. The Ugly Truth movie trailer was featured on the homepage of Youtube a few days ago and got some great response and anticipation from the fans. It also garnered a whopping 2.1 million views!

The Ugly Truth is a movie about a movie producer (Katherine Heigl) who is romantically challenged, getting mixed up by her correspondent which is being played by Gerard Butler.
Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler’s combination successfully created a romantic comedy which will definitely worth a watch. Everyone is guessing the ending of the movie and how well this movie is going to perform on the charts.
Did anyone watched Legally Blonde? If you love or like that, The Ugly Truth is being written by the same writer and director team as well just so you might like it as well. Well known box office celebrities like Cheryl Hines, Bonnie Somerville and Eric Winter will also play a part in the movie.

Escape Starring Katherine Heigl Joined By Kirk Ellis

Katherine Heigl is having another movie project that has been catching her fans’ attention a lot lately.
The movie, Escape, will be revolving around the true and real story of Carolyn Jessop. Carolyn was said to be forced into polygamy which she then escaped from the Fundamentalist Church of Latter Day Saints. She also bring her eight children together with her.
This movie which may in fact be a little controversial is being financed by Catherine Williams and her Como Court Prods with Catherine herself taking up the job of an producer.
Apart from just Katherine Heigl and Katherine Heigl mother, Nancy Heigl, relevant’s Michael Menchel will also be taking part in the production of Escape.
Another good news for Katherine Heigl fans who are waiting for another great movie by her is that the scribe, Kirk Ellis, who won the Emmy Awards for his writing for the miniseries on HBO, John Adams will be scripting for Escape as well.
Although Escape is just an independently financed movie, I do think that with the participation of Katherine Heigl and Kirk Ellis, the movie will be able to reach across many people.
